La Trattoria


Dal lontano 1934, quando Amerigo e Agnese aprirono la Trattoria, il nostro locale รจ sempre stato un punto di riferimento nella valle. La cucina semplice, fatta di ciรฒ che il cortile, il pollaio, lโ€™orto, i campi ed i boschi offrono sono – oggi come ieri – lโ€™anima dei nostri piatti. Nel corso degli anni la passione รจ aumentata ed ora siamo alla terza generazione di osti. La sempre maggiore fiducia accordataci da clienti, guide e stampa specializzata ha ampiamente ripagato qualche sacrificio. Nel corso degli anni, accanto alle ricette della tradizione, abbiamo sviluppato piatti piรน innovativi ma sempre semplici, dove potete cogliere quel sottile equilibrio tra rusticitร  ed eleganza che รจ lโ€™anima stessa della campagna, punto di partenza e vera essenza delle nostre radici culturali e gastronomiche.

Many years ago, in 1934, Agnese and Amerigo opened the doors to theย trattoria located in the heart of Emilian Appennines, in the fertileย Samoggia Valley, perched in the middle of the Modena and Bologna hillsides.ย The trattoria has, since then, been one of the most important gastronomicย points of reference for the valley. The cuisine has always respectedย tradition and is characterised by the simplicity and authenticity of itsย ingredients. Over time, while keeping traditional recipes close to ourย hearts and in the kitchen, we have also developed more innovative dishesย which still, however, remain rustic and respectful of the land from whichย they come. In all of our dishes, even the most innovative ones, we alwaysย pledge to use the finest local ingredients in keeping with the traditions ofย our pocket of our hillside. We pride ourselves on our respect for natureโ€™sย natural cycle by adopting a cuisine that focuses predominatly on what theย various seasons have to offer, by harvesting and using those raw materialsย or products when they are at their finest. There are some dishes that are โ€˜evergreensโ€™ and are offered all year round,ย but many change from season to season. Over the years we have gained an international reputation for the flavours and aromas of our fresh mushroomย and truffle dishes, the precious fruits of our local Appennine forests.
